Scorekeeper Dennis Schebig to Appear on "Fans in the Stands"

Fort Wayne scorekeeper Dennis Schebig will join Wendy Bartle for the next Game of the Week "Fans in the Stands" interview. Schebig, a retired police officer and regular participant on the local newspapers' Komets blogs, technically doesn't sit in the stands at Komets home games, but he is a longtime supporter of the team who has arranged bus trips to opposing teams' arenas where he does take in the games from a more traditional viewing point. As scorekeeper, Schebig will discuss how he became an off-ice official and some of the more memorable moments that he has witnessed over the years. He will also bring up some of his ideas about how to improve the stability and financial viability of minor league hockey throughout the country.
