Cathy Marquardt to Appear on "Fans in the Stands"

Cathy Marquardt, a.k.a. "Blueline Baby" and "Cat Eyes" on the Komets blogs, will appear with Wendy Bartle for a "Fans in the Stands" interview on the next broadcast of the Komets Game of the Week. Cathy first began watching Komets games in the 1990s when enforcer Steve Fletcher was a fan favorite. She has been a diehard Komets fan since the 2007-08 season. She is also the proud hockey mom of Wendy's previous guest, Jason Marquardt. In addition to her own interest in hockey, Cathy will discuss her son's participation in the sport and her appreciation for the Komets players who volunteer their time to help young players learn the fundamentals. She will also shine a spotlight on "Hockey Weekend Across America", a celebration intended to increase awareness of the sport of hockey on a national level.
